Natural Tips To Reduce Urinary Tract Infection Which Actually Work!
Bid good-riddance to painful urinary tract symptoms with these helpful natural tips.
We all know by now that some forms of diseases are more painful and uncomfortable, compared to the others, right?
For example, a fever alone may not put you in too much pain, but it may make you feel tired; a migraine on the other hand, can make you almost cry out in pain!
Now, urinary tract infection, commonly known as UTI, is also one such ailment which can make the person suffering from it experience a whole lot of pain, discomfort and a burning sensation, that too, down there!

Yes, imagine how painful it can be when your genitals are infected and you experience a constant pain and burning sensation!
Urinary tract infection is a condition in which the urinary tract, the bladder, the kidneys or the urethra are infected by bacterial colonies, causing a lot of inflammation, pain and a burning sensation.
Some of the common symptoms of UTI include pain in the private parts, pain while urinating and pain during sexual intercourse, foul-smelling urine, frequent urination, vaginal irritation, etc.
In some extreme cases, symptoms of UTI can also include blood in the urine, pelvic pain, stomach pain, nausea, fever, etc.
Urinary tract infections are more common in women; however, men can be affected by them too.
In many cases, people having sexual intercourse for the first time or having sexual intercourse with new partners for the first time can also be the causes for the development of UTI, especially if protection is not used.
Urinary tract infection is also known as 'honeymoon cystitis', as it is commonly seen in newlywed women.
Causes for UTI can be due to a number of reasons that can lead to bacterial infections.
So, here are a few natural tips to help reduce UTI, which you can follow.

Tip #1: Drink Lots Of Water
Firstly, it is important to drink more water than your daily requirement when you have UTI, as water can flush out the bacteria from the urinary tract.

Tip #2: Consume Citrus Fruits
Consume citrus fruit and foods rich in vitamin C, or you can also take vitamin C supplements, as vitamin C helps in a quicker healing of the infection.

Tip #3: Apply Ice Or Hot Water Packs
Apply ice or hot water packs to the areas in which you are experiencing a lot of inflammation and itching, so that the inflammation comes down.

Tip #4: Avoid Coffee, Alcohol
Avoid bladder irritating foods such as coffee, alcohol, spicy foods, artificial sweeteners, etc., from your diet, as these can only make UTI worse!

Tip #5: Pass Urine Often
Pass urine as often as you can, even though it may be painful during UTI. Holding urine during UTI will definitely worsen the infection.

Tip #6: Washing Tips After Passing Stools
While washing yourself after passing stools, wash and wipe from front to back; if you do it from back to front, bacteria from the stools could get into the urethra and worsen the infection.

Tip #7: Consume Cranberry Juice
Consume raw, organic cranberry juice on a daily basis, as cranberry juice is filled with antibacterial properties that can heal UTIs.
