Ayurveda Says This Kadha Helps To Get Rid Of Cold & Infections Instantly

After the sweltering summer heat, the arrival of monsoon rains brings in a sigh of relief. Getting drenched in the rain and enjoying the bliss is something that everyone yearns for.
But this rain might turn disastrous for your health sometimes. The changing weather conditions and sudden cold wave give rise to a number of infections like cold, cough, fever, indigestion and also affect the body's metabolism.
Those with a low immune system are among the worst affected during this change of season. Hence, one needs to build up the immunity level in order to keep away from these infections.
During monsoon it is essential for all to take precautionary measures. There are several ways to boost the immune system. Taking up medications and necessary supplements is the first step that many people follow.

However, there is no thing as good as going the ayurveda way. There are certain ayurvedic ingredients that help in boosting one's immune system quickly. Kadha, which is also called Karha, is known to be the best ayurvedic drink that helps to boost the immune system and fight infections.
Kadha is prepared using different ayurvedic herbs and spices, and most of them are commonly available in your kitchen.
Here are a few simple ways to prepare kadha using commonly available ayurvedic herbs. Take a look.


1. Ginger & Tulsi Leaves:
- Take about 10-12 tulsi leaves.
- Take about 5-6 black pepper corns and crush them.
- Take a small piece of ginger (about 1 inch).
- Add all these ingredients in a pan and add about two glasses of water.
- Boil it for about 10-15 minutes on a low flame.
- If you do not like the taste you could add a bit of honey.
- Strain it and then drink this twice a day.

2.Cinnamon & Honey:
- Take a glass of water in a pan.
- Add half a teaspoon of cinnamon powder to the pan.
- Boil this on low flame for about 5-10 minutes.
- Add a teaspoon of honey and drink this once in a day.

3.Clove & Tulsi Leaves:
- Take about 7-10 tulsi leaves.
- Take about 5-6 cloves and crush them.
- Add all these ingredients in a pan and add about two glasses of water.
- Boil it till the water is reduced to half.
- Strain it and add a pinch of rock salt.
- Drink this twice a day.

4.Cardamom, Ginger & Pepper:
- Take a glass of water and boil it in a pan.
- Add 3-4 crushed green cardamom, a small piece of cinnamon, a bit of white pepper and dry ginger.
- Let it boil for sometime on low flame.
- If you do not like the taste, add a few drops of honey and drink it once a day.
