So, using this alcohol remedy can help reduce cold and cough, naturally.
However, you must also consult your doctor if the symptoms are severe and you must avoid things like eating out, drinking cold beverages and raw food, etc.
Alcohols like brandy and vodka are prepared from natural ingredients such as rye, wheat, potato and sugar, and then they are fermented.
During the fermentation process, certain enzymes are produced in these alcohols which have powerful anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties, which is why alcohol is used in many disinfectants and natural painkillers.

So, this remedy to reduce cold and cough works effectively, as the alcohol vapours or the residue enter your body through the belly button and fight the disease-causing bacteria.
