Vitamins To Treat Flu

1.Vitamin A – Vitamin A is a natural anti-viral agent. The skin lining under the respiratory tract is the barrier which prevents the body from being attacked by the virus. Regular does of Vitamin C upto 60mg is needed to everyday to treat Flu. The best source of Vitamin C are citrus fruit juices. Vitamin C also has healing properties in case of throat infection.
3.Vitamin E - This vitamin to treat flu is a 'natural viral' killer. It fights germs and other harmful foreign elements in the body. Vitamin E helps in increasing the bodies B cells, these cells grows the antibodies which destroy the bacteria. Intake of 60 to 100mg vitamin E is needed to treat the flu virus. The best source of Vitamin E are vegetable oil and grains.
This winter flu is on a rise and thus one should increase intake of these vitamins to treat flu and also to prevent it. These vitamins also have other health benefits.
