Don't Exercise On An Empty Stomach

Warm Up First
Working out can be potentially dangerous if you are not properly warmed up. Therefore, you need to give your body some time before you get into the routine at the gym. This is the second most important tip on the first day at gym.
No Cardio
You need to begin with light stretching in the major muscle groups before you hit cardio. Following a step-by-step process on the first day at gym is important.
No Weight Lifting
It is best to refrain from weight lifting on the first day at gym. Weight lifting will be a little too much to start with for beginners. Opt for the treadmill or the exercise cycle at least for the first 3 weeks.
