When you are travelling you will be tempted to eat junk foods and the colourful food stuffs will divert your commitment towards controlling unnecessary eating. But you can maintain diet if you have to, so here is what you need to do.
Tips To Maintain Diet While Travelling
1. Pick up a few granola bars or cereals and have them whenever the street food catch your eyes. These nutritious and low fat foods will satisfy hunger and keep you healthy.
2. Even if you want to eat thoses street foods prefer baked peanuts or sweetcorn (no butter) or sliced cucumbers that can fill your stomach as well as take care of your diet plans.
3. What about meal? Well, carry a vessel that can help you prepare your own meal. Boil sliced vegetables in combination with ragi balls or oil free rotis and savor it hot. The vegetable water can be utilised for making ragi balls. Avoid rice or any high carb food.
4. Even when you are travelling by air, you will be given option to choose food so prefer salads and fruits instead of the fried items.
5. Keeping yourself busy is also important as idle mind makes you munch unnecessarily so listening to music, reading a magazine or watching a movie will keep your mind engaged and maintain diet while travelling.
6. Walk as much as you can, prefer stairs instead of the escalators or lifts. Do as much as sight seeing as you can and these simple diet plans can keep will you young and active.
