Ace designer duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla opened the Lakme Fashion Week 2015 Winter/Festive on a grand note. The designer duo made their debut at LFW and with their modern twist to the retro Hippie couture collection, and we could not expect more on the opening night!

The masters of ‘revival and reinvention', who have transformed chikankari, zardozi and mirror-work into their signature contemporary style on silhouettes presented their classic and youthful W/F collection, Jawaani Jaaneman.

Popular for their extravagant bridal wear, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla presented an ode to the modern day divas and their free spirit.

Reinventing traditional styles, we see the acclaimed designer Xerxes Bhathena's infamous golden bodysuit seen on Parveen Babi back in trend after nearly 33 years! The collection had lots of golden sequinned creations.

Their couture collection is a tribute to the '70s and '80s, adding glamour and hippie style to flowy silhouettes.

From flowy and flared gowns to glittering golden silhouettes, the collection was a perfect ode to the style gone by and we are in love with the couture which has revived the retro trend.

As Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla are celebrity favourites not just in India but in Hollywood too, a lot of stars were seen on the front row.

From Jaya Bachchan to Dimple Kapadia to Sonali Bendre, we saw some of the Bollywood beauties come down to show their support for their favourite designer duo.
