Lakmé Fashion Week X FDCI 2023: Neha Dhupia Turns Showstopper For INIFD Launchpad

Neha Dhupia turned heads on the first day of Lakme Fashion Week 2023 by becoming the showstopper for INIFD Launchpad. The INIFD has curated their collection around the 'East Meets West'. The idea was to blend the cultures of the east and west and create something innovative. The actress looked elegant in a simple and stylish white and pastel yellow outfit.

Neha donned the ensemble confidently, consisting of a white deep v-neck top, full balloon sleeves, a dash of beautiful prints (green, orange and yellow) at the waist and a layered pastel yellow long skirt.
She opted for a nude makeup look and a quirky multilayered earthy-toned neckpiece. The best part is that this outfit is made from Khadi and the beautiful quirky work on the belt was entirely handmade.

After walking the ramp for the INIFD Launchpad at Lakmé Fashion Week x FDCI 2023, actress Neha Dhupia said after she became a mother, her fashion sense completely changed. She loves hemlines, sneakers, necklines and heels. She also said that now when she dresses up nicely and wears ⅘ inch heels while picking up both her kids, her instant thought is that she can opt for sneakers and go out to enjoy her day or she can go for heels and sit at home. She also said that ballroom gowns and sneakers will be the new fad soon.
Reminiscing about her old modelling days, Neha Dhupia said that things were quite different than it is now and that she still meets some of her old friends from Delhi backstage while dressing up.

Describing her outfit, Dhupia said that she loves the idea that fashion is becoming so fluid and it is possible because people understand and believe in what they are wearing. Talking about her own outfit, she said, that the belt she wore was a symbol of art, creativity and most importantly hardwork. So, she will keep the outfit but return the handmade belt.
