#CheckOut: What Saree You Should Wear For Your Body Type!
Sarees have been a part of our Indian heritage and culture since time immemorial, and we love how beautifully this 9-yard long fabric can transform a woman's looks. With modernisation, our sarees have also evolved, but we still have the basics on point.
The numerous fabric options and the surface detailing on them have offered us a wider range of options. When it comes to the saree, there are no hard and fast rules to go with. There are thousands of ways of draping them and pleating them, there are variations in blouse styles too.
With modernity, even the west seems to be quite interested in the saree. Using aspects of it and merging it into other fashion styles is just the icing on the cake. The tricky and most important part about fashion is to dress for your body type.
So, today we have a list of what type of saree you should wear that would flatter your body type. Have a look.

The Petite Type
Thin borders with small to medium prints work best on the petite body type. Materials such as georgette and chiffon also work well. Silk sarees with simpler work is best for occasions.

The Plus Size Type
Lighter sarees work better, since they sit closer to the body. Cotton and other stiff fabrics should be avoided, since they tend to look a little bulkier.

The Voluptuous Type
This category of women again would need something that drapes them and hugs their curves, so that they can flaunt their assets. Sarees with a good fall also help.

The Pear Shape
Steer clear of fishtail drape on sarees and keep the pleats on the spacious side. Heavier work on the pallu helps balance out the view. The front pallu technique also helps.

The Apple Shape
Silks and contrasting blouses are the way to go for this body type. Draping the sarees higher also helps.

The Tall Type
Due to their natural frame, they carry out Kancheepuram silks really well and they should wear stiffer materials too.
