The ever-stunning Blake Lively is no stranger to making a statement! The diva recently turned heads at the New York City premiere of her husband Ryan Reynolds' movie Deadpool & Wolverine. Supermodel and close friend of Lively, Gigi Hadid, was also present at the historic Lincoln Center event. The dynamic pair grabbed attention for their distinctive and eye-catching attire, which channelled Marvel superhero vibes!

Superhero Inspired Outfits

Blake Lively went big for her first appearance, donning an off-the-shoulder Atelier Versace catsuit in a vibrant rouge tone. The ensemble's opera sleeves and tights created an elegant silhouette that flowed into sharp heels. An elegant touch to the bold ensemble was provided by the lacy black floral motif adorning the garment.

The brilliant red center stones on silver earrings that resembled spearheads were Blake's choice which added a dramatic touch of action-movie splendor. This outfit combined high fashion with superhero themes, paying homage to Reynolds's iconic red Deadpool suit!

Gigi Hadid accessorized her mustard-yellow outfit to complement Lively's striking crimson. She chose a Miu Miu leather scarf top and a pleated miniskirt that matched, held up by a brown suede belt.

Strappy black leather heels, a quilted Miu Miu handbag in the same shade of yellow, and a plethora of jewellery including chunky jewel-covered anklet, layered brown bangles and rings, wrapped gold coins' necklace from What Goes Around Comes Around, and sculpture-like gold earrings, completed Hadid's ensemble.

The After-Party Look

Lively and Hadid stuck to their colour themes by changing quickly for the after-party. Lively changed into a red mini-dress in latex candy apple from Balmain's ready-to-wear Spring/Summer 2024 collection. The dress was bold and edgy, with a ruched sky-blue bodice and lots of rosettes. She looked like a contemporary superheroine by wearing the off-the-shoulder top with matching glossy red shoes and a striking red lip.

Hadid wore a lemon-yellow PVC trench coat from LaQuan Smith's Spring/Summer 2023 collection, sticking to her yellow colour scheme. She donned a black bodysuit underneath her trench coat, perhaps, to give it a more enigmatic and elegant look. She showcased her adaptability and style prowess with her powder-yellow shoes, the same bag, and the same jewellery from earlier in the evening to finish off her ensemble.
