Now Drape Your Saree The Sonam Kapoor Way!
Sonam Kapoor is making us drool hard and we are not even complaining. Earlier yesterday Sonam taught us how to walk the red carpet in a monochrome pantsuit, and shun the mainstream floor-length gown.
These days Sonam is high on fashion. Is it her app or Sonam just being herself? We still need to crack this case, but we are lovin' it whatever it is.
After the jaw-dropping ensembles at Cannes red carpet, she has moved on to ethnic wears and has decided yet again to dress to kill.
For the 7th Kashish Mumbai International Queer Film Festival, Sonam decided to go ethnic. She opted for a quirky Anavila Misra saree which was something we have never seen before.
First, let's talk about the blouse. The white cotton blouse comes with quarter sleeves and dramatic ruffle ending. The saree features little botanical motifs. The hem of the saree is highlighted with extended ruffle border. It's not a regular full-length saree.
The saree ends right above the ankle. Sonam, to give it an edgy look, paired it with black shoes. Probably the first time someone wore shoes with a saree and looked absolutely stunning.
Sonam has accessorized this look with the help chunky jewellery. We love her statement earrings.
We loved this out-of-the-box take on a traditional Indian saree. What do you think?
