Radhika Apte was seen wearing Rinku Sobti's latest LFW collection. The look was playful with multi coloured embroidery displaying folk and fun at the same time. There is a lot of surface texturing with hand embroidery and applique of paisley silk print. We that the artistry is too breath-taking to miss.
Tassels represent "a tuft of loosely hanging threads or cords knotted at one end and attached for decoration of fashion accessories, soft furnishings or clothing." These luscious strands of threads are majorly used to accessorize things that are rich, lavish and extravagant which is ironic to the plight of the impoverished weavers whose art and skill continues to claim the appreciation it deserves. This is the inspiration for Rinku Sobti's "Tassels" collection at Lakme Fashion Week
The entire outfit was covered in tiny tassels that were placed strategically, we love the entire ensemble and Radhika Apte nailed it. We hope to see more of this B-town beauty in the days to come. Your thoughts?
