The king of fruits, Mango, is a favourite amongst everyone, young and old. This tropical fruit can be enjoyed as a wholesome fruit, a milkshake, a shrikand, pudding and in some places a spicy sambhar too! Even the raw mango, is considered tempting by many, who love to have it with dash of chilli and salt powder. A tasty raw mango salad always perks up your taste buds.

Ingredients for ripe mango salad:
- 1 big ripe mango – cut into cubes
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 3 – 4 teaspoon olive oil
- 2 medium tomatoes – cut into small cubes
- 1 medium red onion – sliced into thin semi-circles
- 3 tablespoons freshly chopped coriander leaves
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- ' teaspoon black pepper powder
- Salt to taste
How to prepare ripe mango salad?
- In a bowl, whisk the lemon juice, balsamic vinegar, sugar, pepper and salt. Make sure that the sugar dissolves completely.
- Next whisk in the olive oil.
- Finally add the chopped mangoes, tomatoes and onion and toss well.
- Once all the salad ingredients are coated with the vinegar mixture, garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
