Beetroot n Paneer Pulav For Dinner
This evening, it is time to indulge in a vegetarian dish. The best for you to try out for dinner tonight is the beetroot and paneer pulav. Yummy in taste and appealing to the eyes, this is one of the most loved dishes amongst old people. Beetroot which is the main ingredient in the pulav will help to increase your red blood cells and maintain a balanced blood pressure level.
Paneer is a better option for those who are on a weight loss program since it is low in calories. Therefore, we give you so many options as to why making this special recipe, beetroot and paneer pulav is the best dish to indulge in.

Lets take a look at how to prepare the beetroot and paneer pulav.

Cooking Time: 30 minutes
Ingredients
- Rice - 2 cups
- Beetroot - 1 (grated)
- Paneer - 100gms
- Ghee - 3 tbsp
- Peppercorns - 1 tbsp
- Onion - 1 (chopped)
- Cashewnuts - 200 gms (chopped)
- Raisins - 1 cup
- Red chilli powder- 1 tbsp
- Garam masala - ½ tbsp
- Mint leaves - ½ cup(chopped)
- Coriander leaves
- Salt to taste
Procedure
- In a tava heat a spoon of ghee. When the ghee turns hot, add black peppercorns, the chopped onions and saute for 2 minutes.
- Add in the cashewnuts, the raisins and saute till raisins get puffed.
- Now add in the beetroot, the paneer and the chilli powder. Mix the ingredients well.
- Now add in th garam masala, mint leaves, the salt to taste and give the contents only one mix.
- When the raw taste of the masala is settled, add in the rice to the tava and mix the ingredients well.
- Now add in 3 cups water to the mixture and wait for it to come to a boil.
- When it boils a little, pressure cook the rice for only 2 whistles.
- When cooked, garnish the rice with coriander leaves.
Your paneer and beetroot pulav is now ready to eat. Serve hot alongside green chutney to enhance the taste.
