Paneer Corn Korma Recipe: Watch Video & Learn
Kids are always the fussy eaters in the family. Mothers have to be extremely careful about choosing the right ingredients for making their kids eat healthy. Apart from making the dish tasty, you have to make sure that the dish has all the important nutrients in it which is essential for your kid's growth.
Keeping this in mind, today we have a delicious yet tasty vegetarian recipe for your kids. This paneer corn korma is a protein rich recipe which is a nutritious choice for your kids and tastes simply delicious. Paneer and corn are two ingredients of which the kids are extremely fond of. So, prepare paneer corn korma and watch your picky eaters relish the dinner with pleasure.

SPICY CHICKEN FRY RECIPE WITH VIDEO
Serves: 4
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes
Ingredients
- Paneer- ¾ cup (cut into medium size pieces)
- Sweet corn kernels- ¼ cup (boiled)
- Onions- ½ cup (thinly sliced)
- Tomatoes- 1 cup (finely chopped)
- Turmeric powder- ¼ tsp
- Red chilli powder- 1 ½ tsp
- Salt- as per taste
- Tomato puree- 1tbsp
- Curd- ½ cup (beaten)
- Oil- 5tsp
- Coriander leaves- 1 sprig (for garnish)
For Coconut Paste
- Coconut- ¼ cup (grated)
- Poppy seeds- 2tsp
- Cashew nuts- 8
- Green chillies- 1tbsp (chopped)
Procedure
1. Heat a pan and dry roast the grated coconut in it till it turns golden brown.
2. Then add the poppy seeds, cashew nuts and roast it for another 2-3 minutes on medium flame.
3. Once done, switch off the flame and allow the roasted mixture to cool down completely.
4. Add the chopped green chillies to this mixture and then blend it into a smooth paste in a mixer by adding a little water. Keep it aside.
5. Heat two teaspoons of oil in a pan and saute the paneer pieces in it till they turn light brown in colour.
6. Switch off the flame and keep the paneer aside.
7. Now heat another 2 teaspoons of oil in a pan and fry the sliced onions in it till they turn golden brown.
8. Once done, switch off the flame and allow the onions to cool.
9. Blend the fried onions in a mixer into a thick paste by adding some water.
10. Now heat a kadhai and combine the onion and coconut pastes together in it.
11. Saute the pastes on medium flame for a minute and then add the tomatoes to it.
12. Add turmeric powder, salt, red chilli powder and mix it well.
13. Then add about one fourth cup of water to it and let it cook for about 2 minutes.
14. After that, mash the tomatoes using a masher.
15. Add the tomato puree and curd. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
16. Now add the boiled corn and sauted paneer to the gravy and cook for another 2 minutes.
17. Once done, switch off the flame and serve.
18. Garnish the curry with a sprig of coriander leaves.
Paneer corn korma is ready to be served. Enjoy this delicious vegetarian dish with rotis or rice.
