Yellow Squash Chutney Recipe – Simple Chutney With A Difference!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of yellow squash (peeled, chopped)
- 2 tbsps toor dal
- 1 tbsp urad dal
- ¼ tbsp methi seeds
- 1 tbsp tamarind paste
- 3 dried chili peppers
- 1 tbsp ginger (chopped)
- 2 tbsp coriander leaves (chopped)
- 1 tsp asafoetida
- ' tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
- Salt as per requirement
- Curry leaves for garnish
How To Make Yellow Squash Chutney?
- In a pan, heat oil and fry toor dal, urad dal, methi seeds until they turn light brown.
- Add red chilies, ginger, coriander leaves, chopped yellow squash, tamarind paste, salt, asafoetida and cook for 5-10 minutes.
- Grind the mixture into fine paste in a blender.
- Garnish with fried mustard seeds and curry leaves. Tasty variety chutney recipe is ready to serve.
