Vegetable Cutlet: Microwave Recipe
When you are running out of time in the morning, you tend to pick up easy to prepare recipes. Getting up late early mornings is something very commonly seen in almost every household. However, playing smart is the only way to make up for the late risers. Preparing microwave dishes is less time consuming and easy too. There are many microwave recipes that you can prepare for breakfast. They are delicious and tastes almost the same.
A plate full of fried cutlet can be a really tempting breakfast recipe. However, frying can take a lot of time, so, why not try the microwave recipe for vegetables cutlet? It is easy and healthy too as less oil is used. The cutlets are almost baked and not deep fried in oil. Check out the breakfast recipe.
Microwave vegetable cutlet recipe:
Serves: 3
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 30-40 minutes
Ingredients
- Potatoes- 2 (boiled)
- Onion- 1 (finely chopped)
- Cabbage- ½ cup (finely chopped)
- Beetroot- 2tsp (finely chopped)
- Green peas- 2tbsp (boiled)
- Green chillies- 3-4 (chopped)
- Garam masala- 1tsp
- Red chilli powder- 1tsp
- Chaat masala- 1tsp
- Black pepper powder- 1tsp
- Breadcrumbs- 4tbsp
- Salt- as per taste
- Oil- 1-2 tbsp
Procedure
- In a bowl, mash the boiled potatoes, green peas until smooth.
- Add chopped onions, beetroot green chillies and mix well.
- Now sprinkle the red chilli powder, salt, chaat masala, garam masala, and black pepper powder. Mix well with a spoon so that the masala is evenly mixed.
- Preheat oven to 250 degrees Celsius at convection mode.
- Now, apply oil on your palms and make small cutlets with the paste.
- Grease a microwave dish with oil and then place these cutlets.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes. Reposition at times to allow even baking. Once the cutlets become golden brown, take them out.
Your vegetable cutlets are ready to be served. Serve this microwave breakfast dish hot with chutney and coffee or tea.
