Capsicum N Cheese Paratha Recipe For Diabetics
When you want to eat healthy, you need to add in a vegetables to your meal. For diabetic patients here is one healthy recipe that you can try out this morning. This healthy parathas is made from capsicum and cheese which will provide you with a whole lot of nutrients and proteins which is necessary. For diabetic patients, they should be aware of what they consume on a regular diet. But, recipes like this one listed below is proven to be healthy and safe to eat.
Capsicum is good for diabetic patients since it regulates the blood sugar levels in the body thus helping these patients to stay healthy. This capsicum and cheese paratha recipe is unique and easy to make this morning for breakfast. Lets take a look at this capsicum and cheese paratha recipe for diabetic patients.

Serves - 5
Preparation Time - 20 minutes
Cooking Time - 25 minutes
Ingredients
- Wheat flour- 2 cups
- Capsicum- 3 cups (diced)
- Cheese- 1 cup (grated)
- Chilli powder- 1tbsp
- Coriander powder- 1tbsp
- Chaat masala- 1½ tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil for cooking
Procedure
- First you need to make the dough using the wheat flour and a pinch of salt with water.
- After the dough is ready, cover it with a muslin cloth and keep aside for 15 minutes.
- After 15 minutes, divide the dough into 10 equal portions.
- Now prepare the stuffing with capsicum, cheese, chilli powder, coriander powder and chaat masala and salt into a fine mixture.
- Place a small amount of the mixture in the middle of the 10 equal portions dough and roll it finely using a dough pin.
- Press lightly to seal the edges of the paratha.
- When the paratha is rolled finely, place it on the non stick hot tava on a medium flame. Fry till it turns a golden brown.
- Repeat this process with the other 9 portions of dough.
This capsicum and cheese paratha needs to be eaten hot. You can dip the paratha in yogurt to enhance the taste.
