Motichur ladoo is considered as Lord Ganesha's favorite food. This boondi ladoo is even mentioned in the Ganesha Aarti “ladoo ka bhog lage, sant Karen seva". This Ganesh Chaturthi, Lord Ganesha's birthday, prepare motichur laddo as the recipe is not very difficult and can be prepared in a matter of minutes. This boondi ladoo recipe is a standard sweet of almost all Indian festivals and occasions. Lets check out the motichur ladoo recipe.
Motichur ladoo recipe:

Ingredients
2 ' cups gram flour
500 ml milk
' tsp cardamom powder
3 cups ghee
almonds and pistachios for garnishing
Syrup
2 ' cups sugar
3 ' cups water
2 tsp milk
3 cups ghee
Directions to make motichur (boondi) ladoo recipe:
- Boil sugar and water till the sugar melts. Add milk and boil for 3-4 minutes till a scum forms on the top. Strain and boil again. Add cardamom powder and color and mix well. Keep this syrup aside.
- Mix flour and milk to make a smoother batter. Heat ghee in a frying pan and use a perforated (holes) spoon to drop boondis in ghee. Rub the batter on the spoon with holes so that small drops of batter drop in oil. Fry boondis till golden brown, remove and keep aside. Repeat for remaining batter.
- Put the fried boondis in the syrup and spread it on a plate. Sprinkle little hot water and shape ladoos with moist palms after leaving for 5 minutes. Let it cool.
Motichur ladoo recipe is ready.
