Malpua Recipe - Rich Flavored Deep Fried Pancakes
As part of the ice cream month, many Indian wedding buffets serve the tasty desserts and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. As we have already discussed on how to make homemade vanilla ice cream we are presenting the malpua recipe. Malpuas are rich flavored, deep fried pancakes which are soaked in saffron syrup. Although malpuas are generally had with rabdi or malai, it is also savored with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Take a look to try malpua recipe at home.
Malpua Recipe -

Ingredients:
For the malpuas:
1 cup fresh cream/ condensed milk
' cup maida
ghee for frying
For the syrup:
1 cup sugar
a few saffron (strands)
2 tbsp milk
Pinch of cardamom powder
For the garnish:
Dried fruits (chopped)
How To Make Malpua Recipe?
Mix all the flour ingredients into a soft dough.
Make small balls of the dough and roll it like small pancakes.
Fry the small discs in ghee. Leave it aside
In a vessel, add all the syrup ingredients and boil until the sugar dissolves completely.
Soak the friend malpuas in the syrup. While serving add dry fruits and serve.
