Poppy Seed Biscuits Recipe – Pressure Cooker Baked
Ingredients:
- ' cup poppy seeds
- 1 ' maida
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- ' tsp baking powder
- pinch of salt
- Cardamom powder
Poppy Seed Biscuit Preparation:
- Fry poppy seeds dry. Grind it into fine powder.
- Mix poppy powder with maida and baking powder.
- Beat butter and sugar well.
- Add the flour mixture to the sugar mixture and whisk well into soft dough.
- Cut the dough into squares or any shape of choice.
- In a cooker pan, arrange the pieces and pressure bake for 5-10 minutes without the weight. Leave it aside to cool.
Tasty poppy seed biscuits (poppy seed cookies) are ready to serve, this recipe serves 4-5 cookies. You can also sprinkle the fried seeds while serving.
