Groundhogs Cupcake Recipe - Groundhogs Day
February 2nd is celebrated as the Groundhogs Day in Canada and the United States. The day is celebrated to mark the end of winter season signifying through a groundhog emerging out of its burrow on the day. Groundhogs day in US is celebrated with full of pomp and on this day, many entertainment and social events are held as part of the celebration. Groundhogs Cupcake Recipe - Cupcake Decorating
Ingredients:
1.Cupcake (Baked)
2.A Candy Bar (any candy bar of choice)
3.Creamy White frosting ( made of white sugar, water, cream of tartar, egg whites and vanilla extract)
4.Jelly beans (preferably yellow or white)
5.Black decorating gel
6.Red jell candy
7.Brown M&M's Minis (for groundhogs ears)
8.Chocolate cookie
Method:
1.For cupcake decorating, cut the center portion of the cupcake with the width of the candy bar and place a candy bar. Spread the remaining area with a layer of white frost.
2.For groundhog's eyes and teeth, cut the jelly bean into half and stick the on the bar using frost. the draw dots for the eyeballs and whiskers with black decorators' gel.
3.Cut the red jelly into a triangular shape and place it on the nose and brown M&M's Minis for ears and cheeks.
4.Add cookie crumbs around the groundhog so as to look like he is out of the burrow. Delicious groundhog cupcake recipe ready to serve.
