June 14th is a special day for the Americans as it commemorates their flag, the day is called “The Flag Day" and on this special occasion we would like present some tasty American delicacies.

The American Flag is the third oldest in the world according to the National Standards. The flag is said to be older than than that of the Union Jack of Britain and even France.

The United States flag was first authorized by Congress June 14, 1777. This special day is now observed as the Flag Day all over America. Take a look at how to go about with the making of the “American Flag Cake".

American Flag Cake Recipe For The Flag Day -

Ingredients:

1. 1 bowl of Blueberries (or any blue colored berries)
2. 2 big bowls of Strawberries (even cherries can be a replaced)
3. A large container of whipped cream
4. Your favorite cake mix

How To Make American Flag Cake?

1. Wash the Blueberries and Strawberries. Slice the berries exactly half.
2. Bake your favorite cake mix in the same way you normally prepare cakes.
3. After your cake is done, leave it aside to cool. Transfer the cake onto a platter and cover the cake with thick layer of whipped cream (icing).
4. Arrange the Blueberries and Strawberries according to the American national flag. Tasty American flag cake is ready to serve.
