Chilli Dosa Recipe For Kids
Do your kids give you a lot trouble by not eating breakfast? Join the 'Hassled Mommies' club. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and your kids must not skip it on any account. So, what you need is a breakfast recipe that will entice your kids into eating a complete meal. We have just the right dosa recipe to get you started.
Chilli dosa is an innovative dosa recipe that your kids will love. The main ingredient of this breakfast recipe is bell peppers or capsicum, that is why it is called chilli dosa. This dish has a unique combination of Indian and Chinese cuisines. You know how much spice your kid can eat, so adjust the amount of chillies and bell peppers in it accordingly.

This breakfast recipe can make the fussiest of eaters clean up their plates.
Serves: 2
Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients
- Dosa batter- 2 cups (100 grams)
- Onion- 1 (chopped)
- Green bell pepper- 1 (chopped finely)
- Tomato- 1 (chopped finely)
- Green chillies- 2 (chopped finely)
- Coriander leaves- 2 sprigs (chopped)
- Soy sauce- 1tbsp
- Oil- 1tbsp
- Salt- as per taste
Procedure
1. Add the chopped green chillies and coriander leaves to the dosa batter. Churn it to mix well.
2. Heat a spoon of oil on a flat pan. Add a handful of chopped onions to the pan and saute for 2 minutes.
3. Then add bell peppers and saute for another 2 minutes.
4. Finally add some chopped tomatoes and 1/2tsp soy sauce to the pan.
5. Pour the dosa batter over the pan and spread it out evenly. Sprinkle some more oil so that the dosa becomes crisp.
6. Fry the dosa for a minute or two and lift it out of the pan.
You can serve your kids a breakfast comprising of chilli dosa and chutney.
