Today, we share with you a Ramzan Special chicken dish known as 'Stuffed Roast Chicken Dajaj'. This is a classic and very popular Ramzan recipe of 2015. It has its origin from Saudi and the exotic ingredients used will definitely make one drool.

Nothing can be more refreshing than preparing and relishing this Stuffed Roast Chicken Dajaj recipe due to its sweet and savory taste. At the same time its undertones of spices you will make you relish every bite you take.
Follow these simple steps to prepare this Stuffed Roast Chicken Dajaj recipe and enjoy to the core.

Serves: 3-4
Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Cooking Time: 45 minutes
You Will Need
- Chicken - 650 gms
- White rice - 2 cups (cooked)
- Ready made meat flavour - 1 tbsp
- Butter - 2 tbsp
- Almonds - 1/4th cup (skinned and roasted)
- Tomato puree - 2 tsp
- Onions ¼ cup - (chopped)
- Cloves - 3 pieces
- Saffron- 1 tsp
- Black pepper - 1 tsp
- Raisins - 1/4 cup
- Chickpeas- 50 gms
- Salt to taste
- Olive Oil - 2 tbsp
Chicken Cupcake Recipe For Kids This Ramadan

Procedure:
- Heat one tbs olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add onion, chicken to it and cook until it turns golden brown.
- Season this mixture with saffron, salt and pepper.
- Add rice almonds and raisins to this and stir well.
- Grease a roasting pan with butter.
- Place the chicken and rice mixture in the pan and coat it with oil.
- Stuff the cooked chicken with ready made meat flavour and let it cook further on a medium flame for few minutes.
- Toss in some crushed garlic.
- Pour tomato puree over the cooking chicken and rice.
- Add chickpeas around the base of the pan and give it a good stir.
- Season the chicken with salt and freshly ground pepper to finish.
Nutritional Tip: Chicken is a lean meat which has no fat and is good for health as it is rich in protein.
Tip: Cover and cook the chicken for almost for 1-1/12 hours until its well cooked.
