Easy and Crisp Kerala Chicken Fry Recipe
Kerala style chicken fry is something you would love to try out for lunch or dinner. It is an Indian dish that is prepared with few spices, and is deep fried in coconut oil.
This is undoubtedly one of the easiest dishes to make. Malayalis love this dish, and this Kerala fried chicken recipe is very popular in south India. It is also called 'nadan' chicken fry in Kerala.
Kerala recipes are very popular for using authentic spices in their dishes. In this Kerala style chicken fry, you get to relish crispy chicken that is deep fried in coconut oil. The best part about this Kerala fried chicken is that it is very easy to make and it tastes delicious as well.

Serves- 3-4
Preparation Time: 1 hour
Cooking Time- 10 minutes

All You Need
Chicken- ½ kg (chopped and boiled)
Fennel seeds powder- 2 tbsp
Red Chilli- 5-6 nos (chopped)
Garlic-6-7 pods
Curry leaves
Salt- to taste
Procedure
1. Add fennel seeds powder, red chillis, garlic, salt and curry leaves in a mixer with a little water. Mix it well till it becomes a fine paste.
2. After it is done, marinate the chicken with this paste.
3. Keep it for an hour to get marinated well.
4. Once the masala gets into the chicken, deep fry it in coconut oil for 10 minutes till it becomes dark golden brown.
You can serve this Kerala style chicken fry with rice or rotis. Make sure that you have sliced onions and lime along with this dish on the serving plate.
