5 Steps To Make Distressed Denims At Home
Do you have a pair of distressed denims? If not it is time to create your own pair at home! There are simple ways in which you can make your old denims look new and follow the trend.
Today there are a lot of Hollywood and Bollywood celebrities who are wearing distressed jeans and styling it in their own fashion. The trend has become so popular these days that every second person in town has one.

Considering this pair of rugged, torn and worn jeans are pricey, it is time you make your own pair at home to save on the big bucks. Distressed jeans when created by you will also look unique and not that popular. So, take a look at these simple five tips to make your own distressed jeans.
You Will Need: Pencil or a chalk, sandpaper, blade or a pair of scissors and a tweezer.

Step 1 - You begin by marking the area you want to distress by using the chalk or the pencil. Mark as many areas where you want to flaunt your flawless skin.

Step 2 - Now rub a piece of sandpaper over the mark. This gives a worn out look on the denims. You can also skip this step if you want your distressed denims to look bright.

Step 3 - Now cut horizontal slits over the areas you want to distress. The slits you cut should be at least half to three fourth of an inch apart from each other. This measurement will help you to remove the threads with ease.

Step 4 - Once you are done, remove the threads with the tweezer or with your finger. Don't remove too much of the treads to create a hole. It will not look distressed if you do so.

Step 5 - Lastly, when you are done wash your new pair of distressed denims with cold water. Make sure the water is not hot or warm.
