Sonam Kapoor Looks Perfect In Pink Lehenga
The 'royal misfit' is always a perfect fit when it comes to fashion. Sonam Kapoor is playing the role of a clumsy royal in her upcoming movie, but in real life she is the perfect fashionista with an innate sense of style. Whether she picks - a Western outfit or a traditional one, she manages to do justice to it. And guess where we spotted Sonam Kapoor in a pink lehenga; on the sets of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7.
Sonam Kapoor dazzled in this pink lehenga. We are not quite sure yet but judging from the extensive mirror work and the shocking pink colour, this could very well be Anita Dongre creation. The lehenga was teamed up with a long jacket choli. This outfit looked more like a sharara than a lehenga choli. We have seen Sonam Kapoor in pink many times. But we don't recall seeing her in this blazing shade of pink.
The lehenga choli had bandini pattern on it. The mirror-work looked very Gujarati from the Run of Kutch. The choli was a bandhgala and had a zig-zag hemline. Sonam finished her look with traditional kundan jewellery and pink lips. She looked quite royal and extravagant in this brightly coloured outfit.

The Jacket Choli
The choli of this lehenga was not the typical one. It was a jacket choli like the one you wear with a sharara.
Mirror Work
This outfit had intricate mirror-work on it. From the style of the mirror work and embroidery, this looks like a dress inspired by the Gujarati style.
Bandhini
The concentric circular prints on the jacket choli are bandhini prints. These details are seen in clothes that come from Rajasthan or Gujarat.
Kundan Jewellery
This outfit required traditional stone studded jewellery to look perfect. So Sonam teamed up kundan jhumkas with this lehenga choli.
Pink Lips
Pink was the colour of the day as Sonam painted her lips a blazing bubblegum pink.
