Deepika Drapes Pastel Saree From Nikasha
Deepika Padukone has been spotted in some interesting outfits lately. She is promoting two movies at once, namely 'Finding Fanny' and 'Happy New Year'. She was on sets of Kaun Banega Crorepati recently to promote her movie 'Finding Fanny'. Deepika Padukone was in a saree that took our breath away during this show.
She draped a delicate pastel coloured saree on her graceful tall figure. It was definitely not a run of the mill regular traditional look in saree. Deepika Padukone was in Nikasha saree for starters.

This peach coloured chiffon saree had intricate sequined work on it. But the most striking feature of this outfit was the saree blouse design. Deepika draped this saree over a very unique looking blouse.
It was not really a blouse but a high-low tunic over which the saree was draped. We have seen the high-low hemline for kurtas, tops, gowns and tunics. But we have never seen this style being used for a blouse. The spaghetti strap tunic blouse was a fashion feature that Deepika borrowed from the ramp. She had draped this saree very similarly to the ramp version.
The best part about this look was the way Deepika carried the look. She left her hair open and looked very comfortable in this beautiful ensemble. Usually, saree is supposed to be formal wear. But Deepika made it look easy by carrying it casually. She skipped wearing any statement jewellery spare a large round cocktail ring that was golden in colour.
