WIFW SS'14: Gauri and Nainika
Day 1 of the Wills India Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2014 was filled with vivid prints and colours. Various designers showcased their spring summer collection on the ramp. The last show was from Gauri and Nainika. The designer duo is a hot pick among celebrities.
Gauri and Nainika presented a bold and feminine collection which consisted of gowns and flowing silhouettes. The collection had deep cut backs, flowing gowns in floral prints and plain black colour. Gauri and Nainika also used different types of prints to bring out vibrant and colourful spring summer outfits.
Most of the models tied their hair into a high ponytail and wore striped accessories like hair band. Frilly gowns in hem patterns were also seen on the ramp. Flowing patterns and frills were extensively used in Gauri and Nainika's collection at WIFW SS 2014. Here is a preview of Gauri and Nainika's collection at WIFW SS 2014 ramp.

Stripes
Some of the outfits had thick horizontal stripes. These dual coloured knee length one pieces can be worn for a day spring summer look.
One Shoulder Dress
This full sleeve one shoulder knee length dress has lots of frills which makes it look extremely chic!
Printed Silk Jumpsuit
This is a sexy printed silk jumpsuit that has a plunging neckline. The bodice has a belt which wraps up the halter neckline of the flowy jumpsuit.
Red Gown With Scarf
This one shoulder frilly gown has been given a retro touch with a polka dotted scarf on the head.
Cape Like Tops
Cape like hem tops were worn with printed hot pants. The hem top has halter neckline and a deep cut back.
Black Slit Gown
This plain black gown has a frill detail on one side of the waist and has an extended short train at the waist behind. The cut sleeves are deep enough for peak a boob show!
Sheer Hems
Sheer one sleeve hems in horizontal stripes were worn with hot pants. Looks chic and stylish.
Frilly Dress
Gauri and Nainika used colours smartly and made use of the frill patterns to create awesome dresses.
Deep Cut Backs
Gauri and Nainika's spring summer collection at WIFW had deep cut backs which added a oomph factor to the frilly silhouettes and silk outfits.
Mustard Yellow Gown
This frilly floor length mustard yellow halter neck gown has a bare back. Looks sexy!
Printed Frilly Gown
It is one of the best outfits shown by Gauri and Nainika at WIFW SS 2014 ramp. The strapless frilly gown is in silk and has awesome vivid prints.
Red Hem Gown
This mermaid red gown has a unique bottom. The bottom of the floor length gown has a hem which is adding a touch of elegance.
