WIFW SS/14 Day 2: Akaaro Collection
Day 2 of the ongoing Wills India Fashion Week Spring/ Summer 2014 has been started. Fashion designers have started showing their spring summer collection for the aspiring style icons. As the season is about colours and brightness, most of the designers have showcased intricate and bright prints in flowing patterns on the ramp.
However, Akaaro by Gaurav Jai Gupta's collection was something different. Akaaro showcased some plain colours which were blended with bright print work. Akaaro by Gaurav Jai Gupta widely used the colour charcoal grey which looked classy and out-of-the-box. Some of the outfits had some intricate prints in coral and different shades of yellow.
Akaaro by Gaurav Jai Gupta had everything; sarees, jumpsuits, high waist palazzo pants, knee-length dresses, maxis, and hot pants. However, the collection also had some printed as well as plain charcoal grey shurg like jackets. We even saw plain sarees that were worn with bandhgala jackets.
Akaaro by Gaurav Gupta was a treat to the eyes as the collection had extensively used plain colours instead of picking up the common summer colours like neon, coral, pink etc. Take a preview a Akaaro by Gaurav Jai Gupta's collection at WIFW SS 2014 on Day 2.

High Waist Full Skirts
High waist full skirts in prints as well as plain colours were seen in Akaaro collection. They were worn with crop tops.

Knee-Length High Waist Skirt
This is a knee-length high waist skirt which is loose. Tight high waist skirts are in fashion by Akaaro collection has more comfy outfits for women of all shape and size!

Hot Pant With Knee-Length Shrug
This print hot pant has been worn with a matching shirt. It has been accessorised with a knee-length grey shrug like jacket.

Printed Saree
This is a bright summer printed saree which has summer colours on it. It has been smartly worn with a tuxedo style jacket blouse.

Silk
Even silk fabric was used in Akaaro by Gaurav Jai Gupta at WIFW SS 2014 ramp. This silk printed one piece has been worn with an ankle length sheer light jacket and boot like black peep toe shoes.

Black Saree With Grey Jacket
This is one of the best outfits seen in Akaaro collection at Day 2 of WIFW SS 2014 ramp. The plain black saree has been worn with a grey sleeveless jacket blouse.

Side Hem Frilly Dress
Even black was used in Akaaro's collection. This plain black side hem dress has frills on the bottom which looks chic!

Sheer Kurti With Printed Jacket
Sheer light fabric grey plain coloured kurti were worn with parallel pants. This contemporary ethnic wear was accessorised with printed full-length jacket.

Silk Palazzo Pants
Silk palazzo pants were fashionably worn with printed shirts that had loose half sleeves.

Crop Tops
Most of the outfits were worn either with jacket or crop tops. This high waist short palazzo pant has been worn with a tube crop top and a full-sleeve plain black jacket.
