Vidya Balan Looks Dreadful In Anupamaa Saree
Vidya Balan has made a public appearance after a long time. Vidya was wearing her trademark comfy, saree. We expected the lady to wear her favourite, Sabyasachi who is recently the only pick for Kajol. However, Vidya Balan decided to try something different.
We saw Vidya Balan in a coral and charcoal grey coloured saree from Anupamaa at an event recently. The cotton silk saree was fab however, Vidya failed to carry it off well. Vidya applied too much makeup and the dusky look was not going with her style. The silver eyeshadow was glittering below the brow bones. The winged out eye makeup looked ugly on Vidya Balan.
The saree was so beautiful. Vidya Balan could have carried it off well with her simplicity. We don't what forced Vidya to apply so much dark makeup and then the winged eyes. Moreover, Vidya accessorised her look with a golden ear cuff that had spikes all over it. Centre-parted open hair were tucked behind the ear. We seriously think that Vidya is trying to experiment with her look but, she fails to win over her usual style statement. Take a look...

Vidya Balan wore a coral and charcoal grey coloured dual-printed saree. The coral pallu had hues of blue print on it. The saree had blue piping on the borders.
Three Quarter Sleeve Blouse
Vidya Balan wore this dual-printed Anupamaa saree with a matching three-quarter sleeve blouse.
Floating Style
Vidya Balan's saree pallu was really bright and the prints were best visible in the floating style.
Cocktail Ring
Vidya accessorised this look with a huge golden cocktail ring on the right hand.
Ear Cuffs
The Manish Arora X Amrapali ear cuffs looked weird on Vidya Balan. We have always seen Vidya keeping it simple and elegant. However, these golden ear cuffs on both the ears look overdone!
Winged Out Eye Makeup
The retro style winged eye makeup looked dramatic. The brow bones were shimmering with silver eye makeup. Brown makeup on the cheeks made her look tanned and dull.
Overall Wind Up
Although the Anupamaa saree was great, Vidya Balan spoiled the look with makeup, hair and accessories.
