Accessories To Try With Traditional Wear
Traditional Indian wear consists of saree, lehenga, salwars and kurtis. There are many ways to don the desi Indian look. These days, many celebrities are opting for traditional Indian outfits at various events. In fashion shows, traditional wear has been stylishly used to portray the Indian women and culture. Be it Wills India Fashion Week or the ongoing Lakme Fashion Week, designers are picking up the ethnic wear and designing it creatively to suit the needs of fashionistas.
There are many ways to don a traditional wear. You can either wear a salwar kameez or team up kurti with a pair of jeans. However, we can wear anything ethnic but, picking up the right accessories become very important. We often get confused thinking which accessories can go well with the saree, anarkali suit and kurtis. While mojris can look good with either of the traditional outfits, pumps can gel well with anarkali suits and sarees.
Similarly, junk jewellery can be worn as accessories with any of the traditional outfit. Lets take a look at accessories that you can wear with traditional outfits.
Accessories to team-up with traditional wear:

Anklet
This accessory can add a special touch to your desi look. Go for thick junk anklet and toe ring to complete your traditional look.

Bangles or kada
You can either wear a dozen of dangling bangles or keep it simple with kadas. Both look traditional and can add a touch of femininity to your look.

Bindi
Most of the times, we avoid wearing bindi. However, a bindi can make you look really ethnic and classy.

Flowers
Hair accessories like clips in shape of flowers behind the ears look classic. You can wear with saree or anarkali suits to finish the look.

Gajras
Try something different with gajras. Wrap them on your wrist and create a different style statement with your desi look.

Jewellery
A desi look is incomplete without jewellery. Depending on the neckline of the dress and occasion, you can wear light or heavy jewellery. Finish the look with a maang tikka.

Jhumkas
Want to keep it simple yet stylish? Wear jhumkas with your traditional outfit to look gorgeous and delicate.

Mojris
They look traditional and can also be worn with any traditional outfits like salwar kameez, saree and even short lehengas.

Nose ring
Round nose rings are a trademark of an Indian woman. Try one of these desi accessories to complete your traditional look.

Potlis
Wondering which bag will go well with your ethnic look? Try potlis. If you are attending some function, go for stone studded or embellished potli. You can even try a traditional clutch to accessorise your outfit.

Finger ring bracelet
We often do not think of wearing a finger ring bracelet as it is restricted to the brides. However, this is one smart way to wear finger ring bracelet on one hand.

Sunglasses
If you are going out in a traditional look during the day time, make sure you accessorise it with a pair of nice sunglasses. They look chic and smart!

Watch
If you want to keep it light and simple, just wear a glitzy watch and you are all set to go!
