Usually, 'bizarre' fashion dominates the scene at most fashion festivals. Designers display their creative genius by displaying clothes that look very innovative, but it is hard to imagine someone walking down the street wearing them! The justification given for this is that it is 'high fashion' and not 'street fashion'. However, Lakme Fashion Week 2012 displayed a record number of perfectly wearable clothes this season.
