Ways To Deal With Dead Skin Problems
Dead skin is something that everyone deals with most of the time. Not everyone is blessed with a glowing and flawless skin.
Moreover, achieving a vibrant skin isn't that easy, since it demands a large amount of nurturing and care that includes regular cleaning and washing, apart from following a healthy diet.
More than cleansing, there is something else that you need to do, in order to have a beautiful skin, for it to breathe better, and that is to remove the dead skin layer. By preventing dead skin, you can achieve a youthful look.

Why should we remove the dead skin? Isn't it a layer on the surface to protect us? Well, dead skin is also known as a horny layer and is the dried up keratin on the surface.

However, these dead skin cells should not be overaccumulated on the skin. If these dead skin cells are present in abundance, they can cause the skin to clog and that in turn would wreak havoc on your complexion.
Dead skin removal can be done in a number of ways, either at home or at a spa wellness centre.
If you feel your dead skin problem is getting out of hand and contributing to a lot of breakouts, which is making your skin dull, then here are some simple ways to get rid of the same, have a look.

Warm Water
Usually accumulation of dead skin cells would make your skin dry and flaky. And when there is a build-up of dead skin cells, it could lead to clogged pores with blemishes and blackheads.
Firstly try to soak a towel in warm water and then gently place it on your skin. Allow it to sit for about 3 to 4 minutes. Applying warm water on your skin would help to open up the pores and also prepare your skin for exfoliation.

Switch Your Soap
As you are aware, cleansing products such as soaps do have chemicals that can make your skin dry and cracked. Soaps containing alcohol may kill germs, but they definitely make your skin turn dehydrated.
Hence, good skin hygiene can be achieved by replacing your hand soap with a facewash solution to prevent harsh dry skin. Soap with good moisturising elements is one of the ways to get rid of dead and dry skin.

Bring Down Your Stress
If you are looking for ways to prevent dead skin cells, then you need to know that it cannot be completely eliminated without lowering your stress levels.
Skin usually gets worsened due to high stress levels, as it would affect an individual's physical appearance and mental health. Skin can show signs of improvement only when you try to reduce stress.

Raw Sugar
Raw sugar is a great body scrub that has the power to remove rough skin. You can even use brown sugar. Brown sugar is said to be the softest sugar, as it has smaller grains with plenty of liquid, which makes it a perfect body scrub to remove dead skin cells.

Combine equal parts of brown sugar and cooking oil (grapeseed oil or olive oil) in a bowl. Then, add 1 tbsp of honey and a few drops of lemon juice into this ingredient.
Next, allow this consistent mixture to stay on your face for a few minutes. Then, just scrub this ingredient on your face to remove the harsh dead skin. This is one of the simplest ways to get rid of dead skin cells.

Rice And Curd
Rice and curd scrub can not only remove the dead skin cells gently but also help soften your skin naturally.
Firstly, grind the rice to make it less coarse, then add curd to it and make it into a thick consistent scrub.
Next, add 2 drops of rose oil to the mixture. Using this mixture on your face can help get rid of the dead skin cells. Apart from removing the dead skin, this creamy scrub can also prevent cell damage by neutralising the free radical damage.
