Homemade Sugar Scrubs
Sugar is considered as an unhealthy item as it leads to many health problems like weight gain, diabetes, cellulite and skin problems. However, applying sugar orally is one of the best skin care products that is natural and effective too. For example, sugar is known as a natural exfoliant. That is why, most of the people use sugar as a scrub to cleanse the skin and exfoliate it.
You can either scrub your face with raw sugar or simply mix it with other skin care ingredients to get a clear and flawless skin. Sugar also benefits the skin as it softens it. If you use a scrub of brown sugar and olive oil, is it very helpful in keeping the skin soft and supple.
Moreover, sugar has a natural anti-ageing effect on the skin. This is because sugar as an exfoliant cleanses the skin and opens the pores. This prevents the skin cells from damaging the skin. The toxins do not have an effect on your skin. This in the long run slows down the ageing process and helps to keep your skin youthful.
