Homemade Chocolate Facials
Chocolate is one of the powerful antioxidants that is used as a beauty product. You might have heard about chocolate facial or hot chocolate wax. Cocoa is a little expensive however, when it comes to getting a flawless beauty, we all want to try something that makes us look good.
There are many chocolate beauty recipes that can be made at home using simple ingredients. Lets take a look at some simple and effective homemade chocolate facials.
Chocolate facial at home:
Chocolate with shea butter: Melt a few pieces of dark chocolate in a double boiler method (one pan inside the other). Now add shea butter and milk. Mix well. Once the chocolate melts, put the pan off the flame. Let it cool. Apply the chocolate facial at home. Leave for 3- minutes. Wipe with cotton balls and rinse with cold water to get a shiny and moisturised skin this winter.
Chocolate and yoghurt: Melt dark chocolate in a pan. When the chocolate melts, add some yoghurt and mix well until it becomes smooth. Apply this smooth chocolate facial cum mask on your face and neck. Leave for 30 minutes. Rinse with cold water.
Chocolate, strawberry and honey facial: This is a two in one facial. You can make this homemade facial using dark chocolate and strawberry. If you want to get strawberry and chocolate facial together, just try this one. Melt chocolate and add mashed strawberries to it. Add few drops of honey and a little cocoa powder. Apply this facial or face mask on the face and neck. Leave for 45 minutes. Rinse with cold water to get glowing and flawless skin at home!
Chocolate and honey facial: This is a classic homemade chocolate facial. Honey is another famous beauty product that has antioxidants and anti-bacterial properties. Make a face mask with melted chocolate and honey. Mix well until it becomes smooth. Apply this homemade chocolate facial at your leisure. Leave for 45 minutes. Rinse with milk and then water.
Chocolate, coconut and brown sugar: This is a chocolate scrub that can be made at home. Mix cocoa powder with coconut oil and then add brown sugar. Whisk till the sugar and chocolate powder dissolves in oil. Apply on the face and scrub for 5 minutes. Rinse with cold water and follow up with a mild face wash to moisturise the skin.
Chocolate and oatmeal mask: Melt chocolate in a pan. Add oatmeal powder and then whisk it well. Add shea butter and mix again. Let it cool. You can even refrigerate for sometime to make it cool. Apply this chocolate face mask on your face and neck. It exfoliates the skin and also helps you to get glowing skin naturally.
