5 Face Scrubs Using Rice
Rice is one of the grains that is found in every household. Apart from utilising its health benefits, you can also use this grain as a beauty product. Rice scrubs for example is an effective beauty product that is homemade and loaded with benefits for your skin. Facial scrubs are ideal for cleansing, exfoliating and polishing the skin. Thus, use this grain as an ingredient to prepare your own facial scrub.
Rice scrubs for the perfect skin:

Rice and honey: Honey has many antioxidants that are great for the skin. Not only it moisturises the skin but also exfoliates it. Honey removes dead skin cells, refreshes depleted skin and brings a shiny glow on the face. Just grind soaked rice into a fine paste and then add few drops of honey. This face scrub is also effective to treat acne and sun tan.
Rice flour and baking soda facial scrub: Have oily skin? Treat it by applying this face scrub twice a week. Grind rice granules or buy rice flour from the market. Add a pinch of baking soda and few drops of honey. Make a paste and apply on your face. Scrub the face in circular motions for 1 minute and then rinse with cold water. Soda is a natural astringent that removes dead skin cells and exfoliates it.
Tomato and rice face scrub: Soak rice in water for 10-20 minutes. Mash a tomato and grind soaked rice into a fine paste. Now, apply this homemade rice scrub on your skin to get rid of blackheads and whiteheads. Tomato is a natural beauty product that fights acne and whiteheads. Scrub on the top of your nose to remove dead skin cells.
Rice and sugar scrub: Sugar is an effective scrub that not only fights acne but also rejuvenates the skin. Grind sugar and rice together. Make a powder and then add yoghurt. Mix into a paste and apply on the face and neck. It cleanses, moisturises and exfoliates the skin.
Rice, milk and apple cider vinegar face scrub: This is another facial scrub that can be made in just 2 minutes. Take rice flour or grounded rice in a small bowl. Add 2 drops of apple cider vinegar and 4-5 drops of milk. Make a paste and apply on your face and neck. Scrub for 1-2 minutes and then let it dry. Wash it with cold water to get a glowing and clear skin.
These are few rice facial scrubs that are homemade and really effective. Just make them any time of the day to get a clear skin. Make sure you do not apply it on a regular basis. Face scrubs can damage the sensitivity and softness of the skin. Also be gentle while scrubbing, use wet fingertips. Start with circular motions and then go to anti-circular motions.
