How To Avoid Common Fashion Mistakes?

Fashion and styles can't be defined under crystal clear patterns. Fashion, in fact, is a personalised concept as what one feels good and trendy for him is his fashion. Thus no dressing style or fashion accessory could be told out of place or inappropriate. But, still there are few common styles men follow for years, which is commonly accepted as well matching and good-looking. There is always the possiblity of men making mistakes regarding fashion. Here are few of the tips to avoid the most common fashion mistakes.
Never wear a short sleeve shirt with a tie. Short sleeve shirts are perceived as lower class apparel. Ties worn with short sleeve shirt wont help you to have a professional image.
Avoid short ties and be careful to wear ties that reach your belt line. This is neither arbitrary nor negotiable. Too short of a tie makes you look like a rube.
Trousers should be long enough to cover your socks, and socks should cover your shins even when you cross you legs. Pants are long enough if they have a slight break in the front.
Always avoid clothes with too many colours on them unless you are attending a party. If you wish to look like a professional, limit the colour within three shades.
Too much jewelry also is out of place. A simple watch is all you need outside of a wedding band or class ring, if appropriate.
When selecting your shoes stick to complementary colours or colours from the same pallet. Match pale clothes with light-colored shoes and dark clothes with dark shoes. Your shoes should be in good repair, well kept and shiny. If you are wearing a suit, lace-up shoes are normally the safest option.
Avoid clothes that are too loose fitting. Loose cloths indicate a sloppy look and that"s exactly the type of fashion mistake you can"t make in a business environment. It is simply not the right look to appear professional and clothes need to fit your body type.
Do not wear too many fabrics. Use only the appropriate fabrics with each dressing style. Do not mix and wear dresses.
In a professional atmosphere backpacks are out of place. You can carry a briefcase or message bag instead.
Weird moustaches and dodgy dribble beards are a must to avoid for men in a professional atmosphere. Comb overs are another mistake men usually commit.
Do not wear socks with sandals, they look very much out of place. Socks are to be worn only with shoes.
Avoid too much make up on your face. Extra makeup creates a harsh look and makes lines appear deeper. Keep your daytime makeup light and evening makeup a little darker.
Some men commit the mistake of using feminine dress or accessories. There are dresses defined for men and women. You should know which is men attire and which is feminine. Stick to men dresses and accessories always.
Always match the accessories with your dress. The same belt may not fit with all dresses. Go for accessories that match with the dress you wear.
