Christmas is a time for celebration, party, food and drinks. Christmas is the best reason to party hard and thus, you should an have the right to look the best. The fashion industry these days set and introduce new trends according to the festive season. In Christmas 2010 the new fashion trend is that of glitter eye makeup. Glitter eye makeup enhances your look, adds on to the party mood and gels well with the Christmas dress up. Here is how you can get your glitter eye makeup this Christmas season -

1.Glitter in itself gives you a gaudy look, you should have a mate base makeup.

2.Apply a creme eye shadow. Start from over your eye lid and spread it till your eye brow. It is advised to use a translucent creme eyeshadow. It helps in holding the glitters in place.

3.Now, apply the coloured eye shadow on the eye lid. The colours could vary from pink, beige and peach. All these colours are near to the skin tone and thus, does not stand out. Allow the eye shadow to dry completely.

4.After it has dried you can apply the glitter eye shadow with your finger or it is best to use glitter eye pencil and gel. Spread it evenly above the eyes and make sure you enhance the eye corners.

5.Leave it to dry.

6.Apply a thin line of kajal on your lower eye lid and highlight the cornors of the eyes.

7.Apply black mascara to thicken the eye lids. After it has dried dip your mascara lid into liquid glitter mascara and brush your eye lids once. This will complete your glitter eye make-up for Christmas.

Glitter eye makeup is specially for the evening parties. Avoid loud make-up with glittery eyes. When you are applying this eye makeup then the aim is to enhance your eyes alone, while the rest of it remains subtle.
