How To Choose The Right Make-up Foundation?

You should have a clue on your skin tone and the matching foundation colours etc... before you call in a shopping center. The easiest way to buy the perfect match is to compare the colours with the one you are used to. It is important that the foundation should match your natural skin colour. Otherwise it may appear as exaggerated stage make up. If the foundation almost disappears on your skin, then it is the perfect match.
Every individual has different skin tones and you may not find the exact match for your skin. The complexity in selecting the colour lies here. When you sample a foundation, do not match your face but go for your neck. the face may be a bit lighter than the neck. The foundation should compliment both your neck and face.
In case, you couldn't help yourself with the perfect match for your skin tone, you can even go for a mix. Select two different tones and a mix will do better job for you. When opting a mix choose a slightly darker and a slightly lighter tones. The lighter tone could be used as a highlighter and dark can be used for shading. All that matters is your creativity.
There are different varieties of foundations available like liquid foundation, cream foundation, powder foundation etc... Go for a variety depending on your skin type.
If you have a spotty or splotchy skin, you can try an easy-to-blend liquid formula, which will minimize the pigment problem. A moisturizing formula will give a radiance and a smoother look. Oil-free liquid formulas will treat pimples without clogging pores. Cream foundation is heavier than liquid foundation or tinted moisturizer, freckles, spots and uneven, patchy skin areas can be covered more easily. The powder products, which offer great coverage and shine control.
In the summer and spring a foundation is a must to keep your skin untanned. You may get darker everyday if you don't care your skin with the right make-up and materials.
Once you applied the foundation then use a finishing powder for lasting effect and also for an anti-shine.
