Baking Soda Shampoo For Shiny And Strong Hair
Baking soda has many uses, but do you know that you can use it for your hair as well? Baking soda removes dandruff, makes your hair shiny, cleanses your hair and scalp and also prevents hair fall due to an oily scalp.
Baking soda also improves hair quality, and you can use it as a natural shampoo. Instead of your regular shampoo, use baking soda to get shiny and lustrous hair. It also kills certain scalp infections that may cause itching, dandruff and hair fall.
While washing your hair with baking soda, there may be no foam and it may feel strange for you; however, it will still give you best results. You will get beautiful and healthy hair after a few washes.
Using baking soda to cleanse your hair instead of a shampoo can protect your hair from the damage caused by the strong chemicals present in a chemically treated shampoo. You will also cut the cost on shampoos. Scroll down to know how to use baking soda for the hair.

Baking Soda And Apple Cider Vinegar
Dilute 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar with 3 tablespoons of water. To this add 1 tablespoon of baking soda to make a paste. Add more water to this paste, if you feel it is too thick. Apply it on to your scalp with your finger tips and then pour a little water. Massage your scalp and hair well for 5 minutes. Later wash off with cold water.

Baking Soda, Lemon And Essential Oil
This baking soda shampoo will work best for dry hair. If you have dry and frizzy hair then adding essential oils such as lavender, peppermint or rosemary oil to the baking soda can make it highly suitable for dry hair. The proportion of baking soda is the same as above, but add a few drops of essential oil to this. These oils can make your hair soft and moisturised and leave your hair with a nice aroma.

Dry Shampoo
If you have no time for a hair wash and can't leave home with your oily hair, there is a simple trick for you. Sprinkle some baby powder mixed with baking soda on your hair. Then comb your hair to remove the talc and baking soda mixture. It will absorb the excess oil on your hair, thus making it shiny.
