You can easily make homemade lip balms by using coconut oil with other ingredients like petroleum jelly, olive oil, etc. Coconut oil acts as a natural moisturiser. It helps in locking the moisture in the lips. Coconut oil also helps in protecting the lips from the harmful rays of the sun.

Coconut Oil And Petroleum Jelly Lip Balm
Ingredients
- ½ tsp coconut oil
- 1 tbsp aloe petroleum jelly
How to do
All you need to do is heat the petroleum jelly in a pan. Make sure that you put it on a low flame. Add petroleum jelly and mix the ingredients. Let the mixture cool and you can transfer it to an airtight container. You can apply this lip balm in the morning and before going to bed for soft and supple lips.

Coconut Oil And Olive Oil Lip Balm
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp carnauba wax
How to do
The first step that you have to do is to melt coconut oil, olive oil and carnauba wax in a low flame. Transfer this to a container and store it in a cool place away from the sunlight. Use it whenever you want to. Regular use will give you the best results.

Coconut Oil And Shea Butter Lip Balm
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 tbsp carnauba wax
- 1 tbsp shea butter
How to do
Start melting the coconut oil, carnauba wax and shea butter. After heating the mixture you can store it in a container and freeze it. Use it as and when you want on a daily basis for better results.

Coconut Oil And Jojoba Oil Lip Balm
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 5-6 drops of jojoba oil
How to do
First, heat the coconut oil in a pan in a low flame. After the coconut oil melts, add a few drops of jojoba oil and slightly heat the mixture again. Let it come down to room temperature and you can store it in a container and freeze.

Coconut Oil And Lavender Oil Lip Balm
Ingredients
- 1½ tbsp coconut oil
- 1 tbsp carnauba wax
- 8-10 drops lavender oil
How to do
First, melt the coconut oil and carnauba wax in a pan on low flame. Later, add the lavender oil and mix the ingredients well. Store this in a container and keep it in the freezer section for future use. Apply this on your lips regularly for best results.
