Tips On How To Do Pedicure:
- Pedicure equipment is the first thing that strikes you as missing at home. Where will you find that beautiful porcelain bowl and the showers for hot and cold water at home? And what about those awesomely relaxing pebbles in the clear pool of water?
- The answer to all your queries is that you won't have any of these pedicure equipment at home but that won't stop you from getting a natural pedicure. You can use the closest replacements. Whats stopping you from using a drab plastic bucket instead of the a bowl, get the hot water from the geyser and the pebbles you can manage without.
- Use plain salt or bath salts instead of the special salts they use in the spa. Salt is a very tough cleansing agent even if it is not aromatic. Salt and hot water also has an antiseptic effect on your skin. You can add some perfume into the warm water if are really missing the aroma.
- Acetone is nothing but your normal nail polish remover in a concentrated form. So just use a decent nail polish remover to wipe off the nail paint.
- Usually a nail cutter has all the necessary attachments needed to cut and shape your nails. You need not try to cut your cuticles while doing a natural pedicure but you cut the extra skin and nail under growths easily. Just make sure you do all this under sufficient lights.
- You can easily buy a pumice stone real cheap from any super market or beauty shop. The spongy solid thing they use to rub your feet at palours is nothing but a pumice. Soak it in warm water and rub the soles of your feet to get rid of the dead skin cells that form a tough layer under your feet.
- Use a any liquid soap that suits you but let it not be so mild that it doesn't penetrate the thick skin of your feet. Keep a towel handy and wrap your feet in them once you are done.
- Make sure you soak your feet at least for quarter of an hour before you start scrubbing and to moisturize use any foot cream or lotion generously.
The above home beauty tips will tell you exactly how to do a make-shift pedicure at home. A natural pedicure is will cost you little but the effects will be more or less the same.
